SaVill is a connoisseur of organic vocal styles of music ranging from Gospel, Soul/R&B, Jazz, and Pop. Beginning as a performer at the age of 5 years old he created a diverse background in song by studying vocal masters such as Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Stephanie Mills, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Patti LaBelle, The Ojays, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Kenny Rogers, Chaka Khan, just to name a few. SaVill's soul desires to use all he has learned to perform, write, and produce music with intense emphasis on melodic compositions with relevant straightforward lyrics that explicitly exalt the elements of life. Sentiments such as romance, friendships, and spirituality express his appreciation for the beauty of life's journey. SaVill's musical interests were sparked early on by the Motown Sounds of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. Growing up in Goldsboro, North Carolina, SaVill knew at the age of 14 years old that he wanted to pursue a career as a recording artist. After graduating high school, SaVilll moved to Washington, D.C. to do just that. Along the way, he received informal training singing in local bands. During his musical adventures, he was allowed to open for or perform impromptu with various professional recording artists like Patti LaBelle, George Duke, Rachelle Farrelle, Wu-Tan Clan, Tonya Blount, and Chaka Khan. Once he auditioned to be a background singer for Mary J. Blige. The musical spark still burns inside the heart of this smooth, grown & sexy male with vocal abilities and creative talents and he is now a freelance performer available for hire for special events including Weddings, Birthday Celebrations, Private Social Parties, Homegoing Celebrations as well. SaVill's mission is to become a local musical force in the North Carolina area by displaying, promoting, and growing his brand as a Performer representing the essence of class and finesse that his musical mentors established during their illustrious careers.  American SaVillian Ent. will also include original music by SaVill for sale online.
